Question Can't Remove Device From Network Map

[Background] I've seen multiple posts about difficulty with ADDING a new device. I have the opposite issue ... somehow, my teenage daughter was attempting to bypass my site blocks that keep her from being productive as a home schooler. I didn't put PW protection on the network, so she attempted to RE-ADD her laptop as a new device but abandoned the process when it became too confusing for her.

[ISSUE]: We have three legitimate wireless devices currently mapped. For the life of me, I can't remove the fourth device she added to the map.

ATTEMPT1:
I have renamed it to "REMOVE" and tagged it as "Possible Intruder Detected". I have DISABLED the wireless network connections to ALL computers, to access to force the "REMOVE FROM THE NETWORK MAP" option to display.

I select that option on the Network Map ... but when I reenable the wireless adaptor ... BINGO ... the device REAPPEARS as labeled "REMOVE".

ATTEMPT2:
I access the ADMIN panel of my router, and REMOVE the IP and MAC address from it using the "REVOKE" function. BANG, its gone as far as the router is concerned.

I then disable ALL wireless adaptors, select "REMOVE FROM THE NETWORK MAP". REBOOT both computers, reenable the wireless adaptor ... BINGO ... the device REAPPEARS as labeled "REMOVE".

WHAT??? I'm up for solutions short of reinstalling NM on ALL devices.

Hi jagster59,

Uninstall Network Magic. Reboot.

Use Explore and remove the following folder and its sub-folders:
\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Pure Networks
\Program Files\Pure Networks
Still using Explore manually clean out your \Temp Folders. Run Disk Cleanup.
Reboot. Make sure that you are connected to the Router.
Reinstall Network Magic.

That's one way.

2nd way.

Stop the Platform Service on each computer.

Use Explore and go to \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Pure Networks\Platform and delete networklib file and its backup on all computers before you reboot any computer.
