Network Map is 139 pages long!
Recently upgraded to newest version 5.1.8354.0
Now my network map is 139 pages long. It actually shows my own PC as being an intruder. How do I clear this without clearing every one individually? I simply don't have the time or patience!!!! Much less how did this happen anyway?

Hi, I would suggest uninstalling NM from all your computers then reinstalling. Make sure you don't begin the reinstall until the uninstall is completed on all systems, and you have cleared your temp files, used disk cleanup and have rebooted the computer. I would also delete the Network Magic directory in Program Files/Pure Networks.
You will need your product key during the reinstall, Enter the product key on 1 system and remotly actviate the other ones from the 1st comp, thecreator says that saves a lot of typing during a reinstall of NM.

Thanks, That's something I hadn't done, quite frankly I didn't realize it would be necessary. I'll give it a try.

I did that, same problem exactly.
Un-installed NM Magic
Deleted from Program Files
Deleted/cleared Windows Temp files.
Downloaded, reinstalled. Funny thing, it froze at the last page of installation. Unable to do anything (monitor computer, share files, printers, etc.) and selecting Finish did nothing. Finally rebootoed.....Still 139 pages!!

Hi Uncle Bob,
I am answering from Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit Beta version.
Uninstall Network Magic. Reboot.
Use Explore as before, but also go to here: C:\Users\All Users and delete Pure Networks Folder and its sub-folders.
Turn off the other computers and leave the other computers off, just in case. Run Disk Cleanup. Reboot and reinstall Network Magic. Test the program operation, before you turn on the other computers.

You have GOT to be kidding me? Is THIS how you install 5.1 over 5? I can't beleive it. Write an installer routine to do all this if that's what it takes. Might as well recommend wiping your hard drive and reinstalling Windows. Whatever this software is worth, it ain't worth all THAT? Sheesh!!! I like the network map and stuff, but really, Network Magic is just a handy tool if you have a clue how to run a home network. I'm getting to where I don't think the pretty picture is worth the install issues/hassles. I'll wait a long time to hear what's up with this before being a beta tester. What happened to the beta, BTW, didn't it figure all this out?

Well reformatting was the only way I could get NM back on my system. Was a long and sucky process but it is working good now. I am actaully running the 5.1 on this system, as I joined the beta team, but really had no input as I got in very late. Sucks when program comes out like this, that is handy, they make some iprovements then seem to always go for this big showy thing that ruins everything that was good.
